A woman can feel several different symptoms in comparison with first pregnancy. She may sometimes even feel totally unaware about the new happenings with her. You need to remember that your body may feel high pressure for nine months along with the post-delivery complications. You should ensure that your body is given enough time to heal and becoming strong for bearing the second baby. IT is also necessary to have the appropriate time gap between both your kids.

As per the doctors, ideally the time gap has to be not less than 1.5 to two years. It is at this time that the body of the mother is prepared for bearing the second child. You should also take time of at least two years for taking care of the first baby properly. Only then you can prepare for the second child. If you are having a toddler already along with a new born baby, then you will feel difficulty for yourself and for the kids. If you are taking proper time gap, even your first child will be old enough to understand that the second child is coming and should be given importance.

For planning a second pregnancy, you need to understand that your body gains fertility in just six weeks after the first delivery. You need to do proper planning for second baby and not calling it an unwanted child. The feeling of unwanted child can make you feel stressed throughout your pregnancy and you may suffer post-partum depression.
